Simple, disclosed pricing
Know the cost before you pay.
The buyer pays at the time of deposit. Vaultly charges a 1.5% service fee, with a minimum of A$5, plus a separately disclosed recovery of the calculated Australian card-processing cost.
Worked examples

What happens if the deal falls through?
Under the agreed release rules, a buyer-recipient refund returns the deposit principal. Original Stripe processing costs are not returned. If a paid seller cancellation is approved, the refund is the deposit principal plus the Vaultly service fee; the card-cost recovery is retained to offset the non-returned processing cost.
Clear terms, before payment
The seller sets the refund and release terms, and both parties see those terms and the full fee breakdown before the buyer pays. For the complete process, read how disputes work or review our Terms of Service.
