Managing Vaultly contact inboxes
Last updated: August 2026
The Vaultly contact page lists three addresses on your domain: support@vaultlyapp.com.au, privacy@vaultlyapp.com.au and hello@vaultlyapp.com.au. This guide explains how to access and manage them.
Where the mailboxes live
Vaultly does not host email inboxes. These addresses are part of the vaultlyapp.com.au domain, which you own and manage through your domain registrar and email provider (for example Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoho, Fastmail or another business email service).
To receive mail sent to these addresses, you must set them up in that provider’s admin console.
Common ways to manage them
Most business email providers let you configure the addresses in one of the following ways. Pick the one that matches how your organisation works:
- Catch-all address — forward every message sent to any address at vaultlyapp.com.au to a single mailbox. This is the simplest way to collect mail for support@, privacy@ and hello@ without creating separate accounts.
- Email aliases or groups — create support@, privacy@ and hello@ as aliases or distribution lists that forward to one or more team members. This keeps the public address separate from personal inboxes and lets multiple people respond.
- Shared mailboxes — create dedicated shared mailboxes for each function. This works well if different people handle support, privacy and partnership enquiries.
- Individual accounts — create full user accounts for each address. This is usually unnecessary for contact addresses and costs more, but it gives each inbox its own login and storage.
How to access the messages
Once the addresses are configured, access them the same way you access any other company email:
- Sign in to your provider’s webmail or admin console.
- Open the shared mailbox, group or catch-all inbox that receives the forwarded mail.
- Add the mailbox to your desktop or mobile email app if your provider supports it.
If you use a catch-all, search for the recipient address (for example to:support@vaultlyapp.com.au) to find messages sent to a specific inbox.
Who should see each inbox
- support@ — customer-support team or the person handling deposit, refund and account questions.
- privacy@ — privacy officer, legal contact or whoever manages data-access and deletion requests.
- hello@ — business development, media or partnerships contact.
Replying as the correct address
Make sure your email client is set to send replies from the same address the message was sent to. For example, a reply to a support@ message should come from support@vaultlyapp.com.au, not from a personal address. This keeps communication consistent and trustworthy for users.
Need help setting up the domain?
If you are not sure who manages the vaultlyapp.com.au domain or email provider, check your domain registrar’s account or your organisation’s IT admin. Vaultly cannot create or reset access to those accounts.
